Meet The Team

Marcus

Marcus Hall specialized in structured finance and arranging sustainability linked financing for banks throughout Asia and India.

He worked with Environmental and Social Management Systems for blended Developmental Financial Institutions financings and provided guidance and advisory for the implementation of Environmental/ developmental/sustainable finance purposed lending portfolios.

Currently providing Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) and Environmental and Social Risk Analysis training for banks in South and SE Asia and Advisory to financial institutions seeking financing.

He has completed several Environmental and Social Governance certification courses with UNEP-FI and IFC as well as training courses through HKMA.

Marcus had a 25-year international banking career and is Hong Kong and Singapore based.

Carl

Carl Carrier was Senior Vice President in Wells Fargo Bank’s Financial Institutions Group from 2012 to 2019, where he was responsible for Wells’ transactional relationship with OPIC, arranging 16 OPIC-supported facilities totaling $3.2B for financial institutions located in Latin America, Africa, and South Asia.

Prior to joining Wells, Mr. Carrier held senior positions with leading international banks including head of Trade and Export Finance at Banco Santander New York, Director, Structured Trade & Export Finance at Deutsche NY, and General Manager, Banco Bamerindus do Brasil S.A., New York Branch.

Mr. Carrier has over 40 years of banking experience, with extensive involvement in developmental finance.
