8 Principles of Sustainable Finance
In 2017 the Indonesian financial services regulator (OJK) passed the Sustainable Finance regulation (No. 51/POJK.03/2017).
This comprehensive and broad reaching regulation succinctly identified 8 Principles of Sustainable Finance that Indonesian financial services and publicly traded companies should incorporate into their operations and business activities.
These principles reflect many of the traits that have today become widely known as ESG issues – in other words - characteristics and issues that need to be considered if we are really to act in a sustainable way.
